DAMARU

AGBOR OBED AGBOR is a Cameroonian filmmaker/TV Producer, he has HND in TV Production, Filmmaking and photography from Institut Siantou Superieure, Yaoundé in 2006 and a diploma in professional video/film editing from VIDEO PRO, Douala. He did his first short film COLD FEET in 2012 and was selected to participate at the 2013 One Fine Day Films Workshop, Nairobi, Kenya in the capacity as a film director. “DAMARU” is his second short film. He is an editor/colorist for “Family Tussle and Power of a dream “.

Damaru

Born deaf in a small African village, 17 year old Damaru’s greatest wish is to get an education like all the other children. An opportunity comes in the form of Mr Patrick, a sojourner from the city, but first, Damaru has to rise above the constant challenges she faces from the villagers.

Damaru 17ans, est née sourd dans un petit village Africain. Son souhait majeur est d’avoir une éducation  comme tous autres enfants. Arrive de la ville de Mr Patrick permettra enfin a cette dernière d’avoir une opportunité. Mais Damaru aura à surmonter des grands challenges face aux villageois.
