Director: Dennis Overeem

Dennis Overeem (Amsterdam, The Netherlands 1971) is a Dutch writer/director and actor. He starred in a lot of drama- and comedy series and theatre plays. He worked as a casting director at Kemna Casting in Amsterdam for ten years. After leaving the casting agency he went to Los Angeles to train acting with Ivana Chubbuck. When he got back he set his mind on being a writer and a director. Since 2010 he wrote and directed 4 comedy series and a couple of short films. Currently he is working on several different TV series and scripts for films. His last short film ‘Fishbowl’ got selected for film festivals in Florida and Croatia. The last short he acted in, ‘Aline_’, a sci-fi thriller won best film and he was awarded with best actor. The film got selected at the Filmapalooza 2015 film festival in L.A.


Mariska is a big older girl and is very Lonely. She lives in a small boring town in The Netherlands and works in a supermarket. Everyday she eats her lunch alone in the parking lot. She has no friends and no love in her life. She tries to find a man through social media but until today she is not very lucky. No one likes her selfies nor do they contact her. So she likes her own photos.
